DONATION REQUESTS

Donations are an essential part of the Chicago Fire's community outreach efforts and provide the team the opportunity to generate positive impact throughout the Chicagoland area. Giving back allows the Fire to support a great number of organizations, which in turn help those in need. We are happy to support various organizations' fundraising endeavors. The following request policy has been developed to create consistency and fairness to the organizations that ask for the Chicago Fire's support. Please read the following guidelines before completing the donation request form below.

Please keep in mind that submitting an online request does NOT guarantee your organization will receive a donation. Due to the large volume of requests received on a monthly basis, there are no exceptions to the guidelines below.

Submission Criteria

  • All donation requests must be submitted online via our donation request form. We do not accept phone, letter or email requests. You will receive email receipt confirming submission. You will be notified via email if your request is fulfilled. Please do not email or call to check the status of your request.
  • Please provide as much information as possible about the event and how you plan on using the donation if accepted.
  • Organizations must be a nonprofit 501(c)(3) with a valid EIN, and must attach a federal 501(c)(3) determination letter. Requests without this letter will not be considered.
  • Requests must be submitted at least six (6) weeks before the event date.
  • Only organizations located within a 75-mile radius of Chicago, including Northwest Indiana, will be considered.
  • Organizations may only submit the form once per calendar year and are eligible to receive only one (1) donation item per year.
  • Donations are for charitable purposes only (e.g., auctions and raffles). We will not provide incentives, corporate gifts or donations to for-profit entities.
  • Due to overwhelming demand, we will not provide bulk quantity items for door prizes or goody bags.
  • Organizations who have received past donations are not guaranteed future donations.
  • The Chicago Fire does not consider or grant monetary or sponsorship requests.
